2. FORMING A PROJECT TEAM
Assembling the project team and establishing a strong line of communication right from the start allows for effective goal setting and a clear understanding of the objectives. The project team typically consists of three main parties; the client, architect and general contractor. Periodic team meetings prior to and during construction are important to ensure a well-managed project as well as budget and schedule.
3. DESIGNS AND SCOPING
At this stage we begin to produce a preliminary cost estimate based on your wishes, the early design drawings (if available), and your budget. As we work on the details, we communicate with you to discuss the scope, styles, materials and budget to make sure we are aligned with your expectations and needs. If we were tasked to develop designs and drawings for your project we work with you, our architects and design partners to visualize your ideas and finalize scoping accordingly.
4. CONTRACTING
Based on the final costs, material selections and communications, a detailed budget is formalized and a contract is signed. After completing all the design and permitting requirements we are ready for site preparation and construction phases.
5. CONSTRUCTION – PROJECT TRACKING
Your project manager and assigned on-site personnel will always be available to you. They will guide you through the building or construction process, communicate with you to control the schedule and will monitor the quality of craftsmanship. For all of our clients, and especially for those who are managing their project from far, we are using the latest online tools to keep them informed all times and provide regular updates and visuals for their convenience.
6. DELIVERING YOUR PROJECT AND ONGOING SUPPORT
When your project is complete, we walk the job site with you and make sure that all punch list items are addressed. We provide you with the final project binder that includes warranties, maintenance guidelines, manuals that includes contact information for the trade contractors who worked on your project and other valuable project documents.
Our work is our pride, we often ask to take professional photographs or videos of the finished product and share those with you. We stand by our work and are committed to your long-term satisfaction. Our team is always available to your questions and concerns even after project completion.
